We are going to go back to 1992. This group won over fans and critics with their afrocentric theme and positive sound. They won a Grammy for best new artist that year but had trouble reduplicating that success. One of the singers of this group later went on to start a solo career and contribute a song called Hopeless for the Love Jones movie soundtrack. Here is Arrested Development in Tennessee.
