Europeans appreciation of music
For some reason it seems to me that Europeans have a deep appreciation for music in general instead of being fickle and only liking a particular type of genre like their U.S. counterparts. I believe it is probably because European media is not as big on the idea of force feeding the same artist(s)/song(s)on the television or radio. A lot of American acts have found more success overseas rather than in the states and instead of trying to tour in the states they just stay over in Europe where they will receive more money and recognition for their talent rather than compromise their talent in order to fit in that tight little box of what would work in the American music industry. So for that I say much respect to all Europeans and music fans who have a true appreciation for what music is.
