I Want My (Old)MTV Back

That slogan alone helped MTV go from being a guinea pig for this new medium called music videos to an instant cash cow during the early years of cable television. Now you have people who grew up with the channel singing that familiar battle cry which is MTV sucks. I agree with them because back when I was growing up my tv was either on BET or MTV and MTV had a wide range of shows to choose from like MTV Sports, Beavis and Butthead, Club MTV, etc. Now MTV had turned into RTV (Reality Television) but I guess MTV had to evolve beyond music videos in order to survive.
