This song was released in 1987 and came off of the success of her first single Girlfriend which was produced by the Laface duo L.A. Reid(Who later became her husband) and Babyface. This song was produced by Charlie Wilson from The Gap Band and continued her string of hits up til the early 90's until she decided do behind the scenes work in the music industry and it was around that time she discovered TLC.
